In this role, she championed economic development programs for the City of Buffalo, bolstering small businesses, aiding minority contractors, and implementing Façade Improvement Programs to rejuvenate commercial districts.

She was instrumental in developing the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, and worked closely with local businesses, business associations, and residents to devise and enact economic development strategies tailored to specific neighborhood needs.
